The Electric League of Arizona makes it easy for you to enhance your professional skills by offering a wide variety of educational opportunities. Whatever your skill level, from the person looking into a new career in the electrical field to the master electrician, the Electrical Technology program offers courses to improve your knowledge, job skills and earning potential.

Building Operators’ Program – Do you oversee a facility?

Learn how to become more energy efficient, how to improve the air quality, and how to install the most appropriate lighting. Do you have the correct a/c units for the size of the facility, and are they working properly? Is your building up to code? Find out what it takes and much more when you register for our Building Operators’ Program. Our course is unique in that each instructor specializes in the field he teaches. Tuition reimbursement may be available upon successful completion of the program.

Earn a Certificate in Facility Maintenance

The ELA Institute for Facility Management Education presents an integrated, HVAC and Electrical maintenance program to meet the unique training needs of facility maintenance departments. Graduates receive the "Master Facility Maintenance Technician" designation and a certificate of completion from the Institute. Arizona Heat Pump Council Continuing Education - Fall 2009

Arizona Heat Pump CouncilExpand your knowledge and increase your skills by taking courses necessary to complete your objectives. We offer Series Programs to enhance your resume. NEC 2008 Code Update
This full-day class will cover modifications in the NEC and discuss why the rule changes were made. Topics also include safety aspects of the NEC changes, conflicting rule changes, how to apply rule changes to real-world projects and how the rule changes affect overhead costs.

Kingman site selected for new $1 billion solar plant
Kingman, Ariz. has recently been selected by the Albiasa Corporation, a subsidiary of Albiasa Solar in Spain, as the future location of its 200-megawatt (MW), 1,400-acre concentrating solar power (CSP) facility.

Tuxedo Air completes first Arizona pool-powered AC
The Southwest has plenty of two things—sun and swimming pools. So when Bill Sund, a former Carrier employee, moved from Minnesota to California he began devising a plan: a geothermal air conditioning unit, powered by the heat in the ground, that uses a swimming pool to transfer the heat in and out of the ground.
